About Us

Talking Wines is a Cotswold wine importer and merchant based in Love Lane, Cirencester. We specialise in wines from independent vineyards. As an independent wine merchant, we continually search the wine regions of the world to add interesting new wines to our list. Where possible we select independent vineyards that offer:

• a 'hands on' approach to wine making
• minimum intervention in the vineyards
• a passion for their wine
• interesting and varied wine styles
• great value 

Our passion is to discover these wines from independent vineyards and enable them to be enjoyed by people who like to try something different too. We also believe that great wine should not cost the earth and so we always look for value.  Each wine has been carefully selected to meet our strict criteria and we are continually adding to the range. We welcome feedback on any our wines, so please let us know what you think.

The joy of working with independent vineyards is that they are often family run businesses and many have a story to tell about the generations that have worked in the business, or how old vineyards have been re-invigorated by new wine-making techniques. These independent vineyards do not make wine on the grand scale to supply large retailers, but where they succeed is in making a small quantity of good quality wine, which also represents good value.

 

We are a rapidly expanding company, supplying trade customers in the Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and  Warwickshire area as well as personal customers nationwide.

We also operate Corporate Wine Clubs for companies and charities.
